Buses serving Downtown Routes, may no longer be flag stopped (stopped anywhere along a route). Regular designated pick-up points have been established along all routes and those points are located on the map on pages 7 and 8. If you need assistance in locating the pick-up point nearest you, call 584-0101.

Welcome to KART!
Kings Area Rural Transit (KART) is Kings County's complete public rural and urban transportation provider. KART provides the City of Hanford with 6 interconnected 1/2 hour routes, regular service to most other communities in the county and daily weekday service to Visalia. Beginning July 1st KART will provide service transportation to Fresno on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Dial-A-Ride service to the residents of Hanford, Lemoore, and Avenal.

Catching a bus:
All KART bus routes begin and end at the Intermodel transfer facility west of AMTRAK on 7th Street in Downtown Hanford.

On County bus routes, you may signal the driver of an approaching bus by waving in time for the driver to stop safely.
